School Youth worker- Southwark
We have a unique position available for an individual experienced in youth work to work in a school setting supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Working with a multidisciplinary team to encourage young people to work at their full potential by supporting them in different areas of their life. You will be helping the school in their mission to support the students with a varied curriculum that includes BMX lessons, sports, life skills and a number of personalised interventions.
Your role will be supporting a class teacher with a group of up to 8 students with the activities they have planned for the day. Each day bringing new challenges to overcome.
The Role
·Working with small classes of 6 to 8
·Working hours of 8.30am- 4.00pm
·£10+ an hour
Requirements
·Experience working with young people in the past 3 years
·Care worker experience is welcome
·DBS or willingness to complete
·To be located in Southwark

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
