Protocol Education are working closely with a school in Shropshire who require a Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour in lower KS2.

Previous experience working with children is essential and you should be able to work using your own initiative. Team Teach training is desirable but not essential. The role will be working with a child on a 1:1 basis.

Over time, you will build up a supportive working relationship with the pupil so that you can act as a mentor and role model, ultimately improving overall attainment and contribution in class.

In order to apply for this role you must have the following:

• Reference information for the last five years
• UK eligibility to work, an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to have one undertaken at the cost of £44
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
