There is a high demand for Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Leeds and Bradford.

Responsibilities of the role:

•Supervise a full class of students, ranging from Year 7 - Six-form (ages 11- 18 years)
•Mange challenging behaviour
•Effectively adhere to school's behaviour policies
•Set out work and keep students on task
•Responsible for accurate records of student's attendance
•Engage professionally with students - build strong working relationships
•Responsible for the classroom equipment and environment.
•Cover lessons across the subjects - not expected to be knowledgeable with all content but have the confidence to deliver set out work.

My clients are seeking cover supervisors on both a day-day, long term contract and permanent basis, dependent on what employment contract you are seeking. For successful applicants I can offer flexible supply work on a weekly basis or a full-time position for the full academic year. I have opportunities to work across a range of different secondary schools or to work consistently within the same school.

Requirements of this role:

•Confident, resilient and adaptable individual
•Ability to use initiative to deal with challenging situations.
•Able to work in a high-pressured environment.
•Good communication skills
•Professional manor
•Experience working with students/ young people in some capacity
•Ideally a degree level qualification or BTEC Sport or Drama qualification (exceptions if highly experienced working with young people)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
