SEND - Graduate/SEN TA role - Secondary School

I am currently working with the SEN department in a mainstream secondary school who are currently recruiting for two SEN TA's for Septemeber 2019.
1 year contract - with the view to go permanent.
£65-£80 per day (Dependent on expereince)

*Experience with SEN is required*

The secondary school in West Leeds are looking for dynamic teaching assistants who are energetic and passionate about their input into a child's education. The teaching assistant will be supporting students in KS3 & KS4 across their subjects, with a particular emphasis on Engish and Maths. The teaching assistant's primary role will be to ensure each student is fulfilling the learning objective for each lesson.

There are SEND children within each class and your role will be to support their individual needs. The needs include ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, global delay, SEMH, physical and behavioural challenges. Experience working with one or more of these is ideal for this role.
This is a fantastic platform for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience in preparation for completing their teacher training the following year. This is a teacher training school meaning that successful TAs can consequently be enrolled on to the School's Direct Teacher Training Programme.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
