We are looking for a caring and compassionate learning support assistant to work with children aged 4 -16 with complex social, communication and interaction difficulties including autism.

The role will be situated within a brand new multi-million-pound building designed with state-of-the-art specialist facilities to boast pupils' interactions and enjoyment during school. The school is privileged to have an extremely skilled and knowledgeable staff team that provides a very high standard of education and support.
A wide range of therapists provide extra support for pupils and expert guidance for staff. The school offers a wide range of therapy including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, art therapy, autism movement therapy, music therapy, play therapy and psychotherapeutic counselling. In addition, the school collaborates with specialist Educational Psychologists to provide expert advice to the school and parents surrounding issues such as behaviour and learning.

What do I need to apply?
·Experience caring for vulnerable individuals.
·Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this).
·Enthusiastic attitude towards inspiring children.

The Role:
Pay: £60-£80 a day.
Location: London Borough of Lewisham.
Position: Learning Support Assistant.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-4pm (can be flexible for the right applicant).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
