A school in Telford are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to work one to one with a Y5 child who has severe behaviour needs.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or a qualification in behaviour management, Team Teach or equivalent. The role is challenging and will require you to think fast on your feet and have a calm manner about you. The ideal candidate must know when to intervene and when it is the right time to step back.
The role will be starting after October Half Term.
You'll be successful if you have:
• A Child workforce DBS, on the update service - we can support you through the process of applying for one.
• A relevent qualification (Ideally Level 3)
• Confidence in working with challenging behaviour
• Enthusiasm and confidence to work in this environment.
• A clean UK driving License with access to a vehicle 5 days a week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
