Protocol Education are currently recruiting for an Early Years Educator to work in a nursery based in Waterloo.
The nursery is a 84 place day nursery catering for children 3 months - 5 years. They are rated Good by ofsted but are striving to reach Outstanding.
Knowledge and experience
Essential
Two to three years experience in a similar role
A childcare or Early Years Education qualification equivalent to NVQ 2 or above
Experience of working within 1 or more of the following age groups, under 2's, 2-3 or 3+
Excellent Reading,, writing and IT skills
First Aid and Safeguarding to at least level 1
Skills and Personal Qualities
Essential
Excellent attention to detail to ensure children's needs are met throughout the day
Ability to plan and undertake clear care routines
Excellent verbal and communication skills in order to provide concise and relevant feedback to parents
Ability to record and maintain accurate online records Classroom Monitor
Able to work well independently or as part of a team
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
