Are you looking to expand your experience as a TA? Or are you looking to start a career in something new and rewarding? A nurturing school in Yate are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in their different year groups throughout the school. There is a highly dedicated team of staff ensure that all children receive a challenging, fun filled and rewarding curriculum. They have exciting grounds which encompasses outdoor learning. They have a pond and outdoor classroom as well as many structures designed to encourage creative play. As part of their outdoor curriculum, they have Forest Skills, encouraging children to experience the great outdoors.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the teacher in the classroom by upholding classroom management and implementing lesson plans and activities. You will assist students during the day with their work and encourage engagement and development. There may be some 1:1 or small group work involved where you will carry out an activity with children ensuring they are involved and completing the work that is set.

The school is looking for a TA who is able to work 5 mornings a week. Experience isn't essential but it is highly desired. Primarily, the school is looking for someone who has a hands-on attitude and will get involved in all aspects of school life. Candidates must be enthusiastic and have a passion for working with children and education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
