We are seeking someone who has previous experience in school care taking or estates management.
Your responsibilities will include:
• The care and upkeep of all buildings and their grounds, including all gardens, sheds and outbuildings.
• Minor repairs, as well as liaising with the School and Managers when more specialist repairs are required.
• Ensuring Risk Assessments are up to date and followed at all times.
• Working alongside the Cleaners to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in each nursery at all times.
• Having good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and requirements, including Fire Safety.
• Undergoing regular Health and Safety training, and reviewing this on an annual basis.
• Ensuring that the buildings are secure at all times.
• Key-holder responsibility.
• Flexible hours, working both indoors and outdoors.
• Adhering to Safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Managing a budget.
• Organising/prioritising tasks to ensure the safety of all staff and children is maintained at all times.
• Required to undergo DBS check and two references.
You are required to have very strong building, maintenance and repairs skills. You will be working alongside the management on projects to enhance the nursery and make it an even more appealing place.
As you will be working with children you will be subject to an Enhanced DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
