This is an exciting role for someone with experience and good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and a confident grasp of the classroom management. The role is due to begin in January 2020 and is for the rest of the academic year 2019/20.

You will be keen to impress, with excellent teaching skills and a desire to make a positive difference in children's learning! The role involves supporting children in KS2 in small intervention groups as well as covering classes in year 3 and 4.

The role requires an engaging, confident personality who has experience supporting primary aged pupils and will have a confident grasp KS2 curriculum. If you have the HLTA qualification the school are particularly keen to hear from you!

The school offer a friendly, welcoming close-knit team who work hard to ensure children have the best start in life. The senior leadership team are friendly, approachable and ensure that children feel safe and happy in the school.

The school is located in close to East Ham station and is easily accessed by a number of bus routes.

The head teacher is looking for an HLTA who:

Has a good academic background, ideally you will be degree educated however if you demonstrate great experience within primary schools they would love to hear from you!
Has an engaging, confident approach - able to build positive relationships with pupils
Has excellent primary school experience
Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum

The person

This role requires someone who is:

Confident knowledge of the primary curriculum
Able to manage classes
Confident classroom management
Excellent level of grammar, English
A friendly, positive personality
HLTA experience would be great!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
