We are currently working with a Primary and Secondary level special needs school for young boys and girls with SEMH, challenging behaviour, PMLD, and so on.

They are currently searching for an experienced, motivated and passionate individual to join their respectable team of learning support assistants. Due to the nature of the children, experience of working in a support or care role would be highly preferred, but it is not essential.

The role is for an immediate start, running through to the end of the academic year. You will be working 5 days a week, from the hours of 8:30am to 4:00pm. You will be assigned a classroom consisting of 6-8 pupils and will work alongside a special needs teacher and one other member of staff. Your day to day role will include you working on a 1:1 or small group basis with these children.

To apply, you must have a form of UK-based child related, or support working experience within the last 3 years. Successful candidates will have an optimistic and passionate approach to working with children and young adults with special needs.

Are you determined to make a positive change in people's lives? If so, this role is for you.

Apply today, by calling Dominic on 0116 216 2122 or alternatively emailing your current CV, to dominic.watts@protocol-education.com, and all successful candidates will be contacted within 3-5 working days.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see protocol-education.com/FAQs for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
