We are looking to recruit a number of passionate and dedicated classroom assistants to work on a one to one basis supporting pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Rotherham,
If you have previous experience then this really represents a great opportunity to develop your career further in education.
The successful candidates will:-
Have experience of working with ASD in a Primary setting, ideally having completed Autism Awareness Training.
Be familiar with Makaton.
Be enthusiastic and flexible with a very "hands-on" approach.
Be prepared to get involved with school life and make a positive contribution to the school.
Have high standards of personal presentation.
Possess a positive and helpful attitude.
Have first class communication skills and be passionate about making a difference.
You'll be expected to provide 2 references covering the last 2 years in education and an up to date DBS (Protocol Education will complete new DBS checks that are over 12 months old), proof of qualifications and work history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
