My client is looking for an experienced, Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to support their caring nursery on a weekly on-going basis.
The Nursery located in Chalfont St Peters are undoing a period of growth and so require on-going support from a Qualified Nursery Nurse, to help nurture the children in the setting. The role will entail working Monday-Friday 8am-6pm but please note hours and days may be subject to change depending on weekly nursery intake.
This nursery provides a nurturing environment that supports the development of strong foundations during the vital early years of the child's education. Providing the highest quality of learning and care, you'll be expected to uphold the standard to contribute towards the nurturing on the children at the nursery. Personal responsibility and co-operation are encouraged, and children are guided to demonstrate a caring attitude to both their peers and staff members.
Duties
·To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children placed in the setting
·To give support to the team within the setting
·Ensure all agreed company policies and procedures are adhered to within the setting
·Take responsibility for the safeguarding and wellbeing of all children within the setting
·To work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
·To be flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other responsible duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack meals, cleaning of equipment, etc
Skills and Experience
·NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
·A warm, caring, and patience nature
·Creative ideas for activities
·An interest in child development
·An awareness of child safety issues
·The ability to work in a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
