Protocol Education are currently recruiting for qualified nursery staff to work in a number of nurseries in the following areas: Richmond, Kingston, Epsom, Weybridge and Guildford.
We are looking for staff who are interested in flexible working hours between the hours of 7am-18.30 3-5 days per week.
Person Specification
JOB TITLE
Nursery Nurse (qualified)
Knowledge and Experience
NVQ 2/3 in Childcare and Education or relevant equivalent
Working knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and current legislation
An understanding of children's development
An understanding of New EYFS
Skills and Abilities
Ability to follow instructions or work on own initiative as necessary
Ability to communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals
Ability to keep accurate records
Ability to implement high health and safety standards
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to establish positive relationships with children
Personal Qualities
A commitment to giving children and families the opportunity to reach their full potential
A commitment to Equal Opportunities
Willingness to participate in further training and developmental opportunities offered by the school and county, to further knowledge

Desirable Criteria
Evidence of further recent and relevant training or qualifications
Qualified in Paediatric First Aid

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
