Protocol Education are working with a Special Needs School based within Kingston Upon Thames, who are seeking a qualified Teacher to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as work in small groups of pupils from November 2019. The pupils who need support range across Primary age and Secondary ages, so it is vital that you have experience supporting pupils who have challenging behaviour and autism.

The School is within walking distance from Kingston Upon Thames station and is close proximity to the lively bustling shopping district. The role is working 5 days a week within either Primary or Secondary aged pupils. Your main role will be to work in small groups or 1:1 with SEND pupil's. Most of these pupils will either have SEMH or Autism, so it is vital that you are able to build a rapport with them and commit on a long-term basis.

The client that I am working with is expanding so there are multiple opportunities available to start in November 2019. They are conducting formal interviews as soon as Protocol Education have a up to date CV and you have met us for a first interview in our office.

In order to be short listed for this role you must hold UK QTS or have the overseas equivalent. NQT's will be considered for this role providing you have direct experience with special needs pupils. Above all you need to have a real passion for supporting challenging pupils and have the resilience to not give up on them.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
