**School DT Technician required for a school in Barnet starting ASAP **

School DT Technician needed to join a hardworking, friendly science team starting ASAP on a long-term basis for a secondary school in Barnet.

Previous School DT Technician experience IS desirable, and the candidate MUST be work shop trained. This role would suit a Product Design Graduate!

About the Role
The successful candidate will be providing Outstanding technical support to the Head of Department and subject teachers. You will be required to maintain the cleanliness and working order of the workshop, workrooms and all equipment, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. You will be required to set up and pack down for all practicals, and provide in class support to teacher and students where required.

About You
The successful applicant will:
* Be an experienced DT Technician with sound Resistant Materials knowledge, who is certified using all tools and machinery.
* have a proactive attitude, be enthusiastic, flexible, willing to get the job done and hard worker
* Work well in a team environment, and also be able to work autonomously
* Sound knowledge of Health and Safety

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
