Interested in using your Drama degree to help young students?

We are looking for enthusiastic Drama graduates for a flexible role working with students with special educational needs and disabilities including Autism. You will be required to support students in school classes using a creative approach. The school are looking for teaching assistants who can inspire children and help develop their skills and interests. The lively school is set in the heart of Southwark with excellent public transport links and parking available.

The school specialises in primary education for pupils on the autistic spectrum. Ideal candidates will have a knowledge and understanding of these students needs and will be able to offer a bespoke approach to support.

Pay: £60-£80 a day
Location: Southwark, London
Position: Creative Classroom Assistant
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-4pm (can be flexible for the right applicant)

What you need to apply

·Experience working with children in the past 3 years (Voluntary welcome)
·Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this)
·Enthusiastic attitude towards inspiring children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
