A mainstream Primary school in Bradford is looking for a support assistant to aid children from year 2 to year 6 who are new to the English language, in particular Polish, Slovakian and Romanian.
This role is to start straight away and will continue until July 2020.
The school are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable to pupils needs. You HAVE to be fluent in at least one of the above European languages to work as a translator for pupils with very basic or no English who are new to the English educational system. A TEFL or TESOL qualification is preferable.
The school are looking for someone who will be excited at the opportunity of being involved in helping someone settle into a new environment.
Suitable candidates must possess:
- Relevant Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience
- Strong classroom management skills in line with school behaviour policy
- A professional manner
- Strong interpersonal and organisations skills
