Protocol Education are working with a leading childcare company to support their permanent recruitment. This chain is committed to providing exceptional care that helps young children to develop and are passionate towards making a positive difference to the lives of the children within their care.

Their St Albans nursery currently have a permanent, full-time position available. This nursery is located close to the St Albans city centre, with easily accessible transport links- it's the ideal location if you are located within St Albans or the surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities:

-Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to aid child development
-Plan and provide exceptional care, teaching and learning
-Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
-Work with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children

Skills & Experience:

-Minimum CACHE Level 3 or equivalent (NNEB BTEC National Diploma, NVQ Level 3)
-A commitment and dedication to deliver exceptional childcare
-Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
-Previous nursery or childcare experience
-Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
-Ability to record and report the individual needs of your key group of children

The position is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Salary would be between £16,000-£18,800 depending on skills and experience plus benefits including childcare and retail discounts.
