This role is ideal for someone newly qualified and looking to gain some vital experience in a nursery.

The nursery is in Clapton in Hackney.
The nursery is open from 7.30am to 6pm, for 51 weeks of the year.
This role is on a 40 hour per week basis and pays up to £17 000

The ideal candidate for the role:
•Have a Level 3 childcare qualification
•Have done some work experience in nurseries prior to this
•Have a good understanding of EYFS and Safeguarding
•Be happy to continuously perfect and improve their skills
•Be reliable and enjoy working with parents and staff to promote good practice

Nursery Nurse Responsibilities include:
•Assisting and supporting the Nursery Management in the day-to-day management and running of a room.
•Ensuring that all children attending receive high quality care, are kept safe, receiving a rich and diverse educational experience
•Supporting your room leader in their delivery of stimulating & fun play experiences.
•Ensuring that your room meets the requirements of regulatory bodies with relation to EYFS, Safeguarding, SEND, Health and Safety
•Making sure you adhere to and promote adherence within your team to company policies and procedures
•To work in partnership with the Parents of the children under our care, providing a consistent, cohesive and enthusiastic approach
•Presenting yourself as a role model for not only the Children but other team members

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
