A nursey based in Clacton are recruiting for a Room Leader.

Your role would be to lead the team, providing regular feedback and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and care are always delivered.

As this nursery is relatively small. You can focus on the children and provide great support for each child.

Responsibilities:

•Taking overall responsibility for all children and activities in the room
•Working with your team to administer all activities within the room, leading daily team meetings
•Team coaching, feedback & development
•Innovating with activities and constantly challenging children's learning & development
•Building & maintaining excellent relationships with parents
•Promoting and role-modelling safeguarding procedures and the importance of child welfare
•Working a flexible shift pattern within the opening hours 7:30 am - 6pm

Requirements:

•High energy brought to every task you take on, and solution driven approach to problems
•Min 2 years' relevant experience
•Relevant Early Years qualification, level 3 or above

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
