Great opportunity working in a specialist SEN school based in Northamptonshire.

You will be working in a SEND School teaching across the KS3 and KS4 frameworks.

The school caters for children aged from Year 7 to Year 11 who are "looked after children" and may have elements of EHCPs. The students at the school are unable to manage in main stream schools for a variety of reasons and as a result require a resilient and committed staff team and a bespoke delivery.

You are required to have experience of working with challenging behaviours and SEMH needs in an educational setting and a proven track record of a commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

Your main remit is to deliver a Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculums based on, ASDAN short courses and awards, Science, as well as English and maths at Functional Skills and GCSE's. Teacher will be required to teach a range of subjects and subject support and guidance is provided by teachers in other schools which are part of the group.

Applications are particularly welcome from teachers who can offer science or vocational subjects. The role is a long term full-time position; we are looking for the right candidate to commence after the October half term.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
