Is it time for a change? Are you looking for a new challenge? (Leeds and surrounding areas)

Think about all the young people you've read about or know that have fallen out of education or been excluded from school. It's not surprising that part of the problem is that these vulnerable young people are not being encouraged or challenged in a positive way. They might not have been provided with the right support or access to resources so they can succeed, for some it can look like a never ending road to nowhere…….

For most an education just isn't enough. This is where you come in. When you work with some of these young people you face social, emotional and mental health issues, which are sometimes so removed from the world we live in, and yet this for many young people is what they encounter every day. Could you be the one who helps facilitate a positive change and improve the outcomes for these young people.

So, what's the challenge? For you it's straight forward just keep reading and decide what you're going to do next……..

Protocol Education are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive difference and seeing young people's lives improve outcomes. With your experience in either Behaviour Management / SEN / Youth Work / Sports Coaching/ Psychology studies you could help these young people by giving them a chance to thrive - an opportunity to see things from a different perspective, change the outcomes and make the road to nowhere go somewhere meaningful for them.

This work is not for the faint-hearted, so you will need to be emotionally resilient, non-judgemental, understanding and above all be patient. These young people are aged from 5 to 19 years and carry their own emotional baggage, however take a moment to envisage the long-term positive affects you could have on their lives.

You'll inspire them to believe in themselves, maybe for the first time. You'll help them overcome barriers to learning and give opportunities they would never have thought of. However most importantly, you'll be that one person who never gave up, always believed and challenged them to do the same.

Now it's your challenge. What are you going to do?
