January SEND TA Opportunity

A special educational needs teaching assistant is required at mainstream school in Kingston. The school itself is rated "GOOD" by Ofsted and is for students aged 4-11, there is a provision at the school as well as children in the mains school who require 1-1 support.

The role requires you to be a confident TA with experience working with MLD (Moderat Learning Difficulties) or ASD (Autistic Spectrum Condition) children.

Main Duties:
Supporting students with work set by the class teacher
Assisting with core subjects and EAL
Working with the teacher to assess pupils levels and ability
Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
Liaising with parents and carers

Please note that you will not be considered for this position if you don't possess an enhanced DBS Disclosure, or if you are not eligible to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
