Protocol Education are currently searching for experienced, and/or newly qualified teachers to work with one of our highly trusted clients; a leading special needs school based in the heart of Kingston Upon Thames, at a ten-minute walk from the nearest station.

The role is for a September start; running through to the end of the academic year. It will begin on a temporary basis, with the potential of successful, and highly rated teachers securing a permanent position with the school itself.

Your day-to-day role will include:
-Teaching and conducting lessons and lesson plans to a small classroom of 6-8 pupils with disabilities, ranging from, autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, and so on.
-Assisting the pupils with any challenges or obstacles that they may be facing and putting a smile on their face every day!
-Working on either a day-to-day or long-term basis, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, during term times.

Ideal candidates will have:
-A QTS qualification, or the overseas equivalent. (NQT's are welcome!)
-Previous experience of working in a school setting, on either a primary or secondary level.
-Experience of working in a SEN environment is preferred, but not essential.
-A passion for working with special needs children and wanting to make a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
