We are seeking dedicated and flexible Support workers, to provide valuable support within a residential and supported living setting in Hartlepool.

The provision caters for adults with varying needs, with a high level of Autism but also Downs Syndrome, behavioural challenges, and mobility issues. You will be working within an established team of core staff, who are able to provide support and advice. Many of the adults within the provision require 2 to 1 support, so in most cases you will be working alongside another person.

What would I be doing?
• Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard residents at all times.
• Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
• Assisting with practical matters relating to care (cooking, cleaning etc.)
• Creating positive relationships with the young adults and offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
• Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the residents.
• This role does involve some personal care, such as feeding or changing.

The shifts are of varying lengths, between the hours of 8am - 8pm. So, whether you're available for 12 hour shifts or 6 hours, this could be the role for you!

All applicants must hold, or be happy to complete, an Adult DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
