A Primary School in Ealing are looking for an LSA to assist the teacher within a KS2 classroom. You will be required to support children who have both severe autism and behavioural difficulties. They are looking for someone who is able to build strong relationships with students and colleagues, bring new ideas to the table and to track the progress of the children within the class. This school is a forward thinking and innovative school that is committed to providing an outstanding education for children with a wide range of learning needs. They have facilities and resources that are purely built for supporting children with autism and challenging behaviour so you will be well supported in this role.

Ideally you will be trained in Team Teach and Makaton. However, qualifications are not essential but are desirable. If you feel your personality could be an asset to the school and meets the criteria of the position, please do respond to this role.

Ideally you will:

- Have previous experience of working in a School Classroom setting.
- Have experience of working with children who have additional needs, both physical and behavioural.
- Have good communication skills with staff, children and parents.
- Be able to work as part of a team, but also use initiative and self- direction when needed

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
