Are you a great Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant who has experience supporting children with a range of SEND's or offering general classroom support?
Are you someone from a Social Care background looking to secure experience in a Secondary School in the area?

Then we want to hear from you!

Protocol Education are looking for caring, supportive and dedicated TAs/ LSAs who have experience working with SEND pupils either as part of small groups or on a one to one basis. Our team of consultants work with numerous secondary schools across South West London who require one-to-one support for vulnerable children, as well as more general support in their SEND department.

The successful SEN TA/SEN LSA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher and SENDCo, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment.

Experience supporting some of the following SEN provisions could be advantageous:

ADHD
Asperger Syndrome
Autism (ASD)
Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)
Challenging Behaviour
Dyslexia
Epilepsy
Global Development Delay (GDD)
Hearing Impairment (HI)
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)
Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)
Speech and Language Disorder
Visual Impairment (VI)

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Education and understand and enjoy the challenges that come with working with children with SEND provisions. Therefore, you will be a patience, charismatic and nurturing individual.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
