A high performing, diverse and wonderfully warm secondary school are looking for a highly qualified KS4 History Teacher to join their team in January 2020. The ideal candidate will require outstanding knowledge and a strong passion for the subject. Raising attainment and being able to inspire every student within a classroom is a key quality we a searching for so we can educate every student to be the best version of themselves. As a school we pride ourselves on having strong pastoral support and providing rich learning experiences which work together to provide an outstanding learning experience for all students both academically and holistically. For this role you will need to hold QTS or a relevant UK recognised teaching qualification and have recent experience teaching History across Key Stage 4.



The successful candidate will require the following:

•Must have previous classroom experience with Secondary KS4
•Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
•Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management.
•Provide feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development
•A strong moral purpose committed to equality and diversity.
•A passion for teaching History
•Able to develop positive relationships with staff and students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
