Teacher of English - Work at a Good school with an Inspirational Leadership Team
Protocol Education are currently seeking an engaging and inspirational teacher of English to work at our client school based Spelthorne, Surrey. This is a long-term opportunity starting immediately running through to the end of the academic year. You will be delivering general English across KS3 and your specialism to KS4. You will be expected to carry out all duties of that of a permanent member of staff including marking, faculty meetings, parent meetings etc.

Students make good, and sometimes outstanding progress in English lessons, with general academic progress at the school also being impressive; the proportion of students achieving five or more GCSE results at Grace C or higher is well above average. Teaching is strong, with the faculty placing a high emphasis on engagement and enjoyment of the material. Although a lively school, behaviour is positive and students were reported by Ofsted as courteous and welcoming to visitors, so rest assured you will be well received by your new students, and well supported by your co-workers. Leaders are supportive and actively engage in planning for the betterment of their pupils, working closely with teaching staff to improve student attainment and overall satisfaction with their learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
