If you have a passion for educating, are innovative and committed to raising standards then you could be the ideal candidate to be a Cover Supervisor.
Currently I am working with Secondary schools in the local area of Sheffield, Rotherham and Chesterfield.
They are seeking graduate and experienced cover supervisors who have a confident presence within the classroom and demonstrate a pro-active approach to covering pre planned lessons in all subjects.
If you have a subject specialism (i.e, Drama, PE, Maths) this is ideal as they will aim for you to cover within your subject. A cover supervisor role is the ideal position if you are seeking to begin or expand on a career within education as qualified teacher in the future or to even see if a career in education is for you.
We are able to offer work on a part time or full-time basis, and either a daily or longer-term basis. Usually once you begin working in local schools and you build strong relationships with the staff and students, it is likely you will continue to return to the same schools.
We do require you to hold a DBS that is on the update service, or be willing to undertake one. You will also need to provide 2 x references within the last 3 years, with at least 1 being from a professional setting.
