Nursery Nurse- About the role:

As a successful nursery nurse, you will be working with children in an Early Years Private Nursery. You will be required to work as part of a team, dealing with parents and ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children within your care. You will be expected to use your own initiative when carrying out observations, experience planning and able to provide the next steps to enhance child development. If successful, you will be required to start immediately with the potential of long term placement. Hours will vary depending on the needs of the nursery, ranging from 7.30am-6pm.

The client is a private nursery located in Kent. This is a popular nursery with the local residents. The nursery manager is very consistent with her ambition to improve pupil' achievement and working closely with staff members, she's has built a strong committed workforce which has a shared vision for the nursery. The children's behaviour is good during lessons and around the nursery at playtime. The nursery has parking on site and is close for public transport commuters.
Nursery Nurse- Requirements:
·Hold the Right to Work in the UK
·Minimum level 2 Childcare Qualification (level 3 more desirable)
·Previous experience working within a private nursery
·Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but can be provided)
·Enhanced child DBS which is registered with the online service
·Provide two professional child related references

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
