A position has become available for a Nursery Nurse / Nursery Practitioner at our client's day nursery in Canary Wharf.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner looking to take the next step in their childcare career.

Your role will include:
  • Supporting children's development
  • Planning, preparing and evaluating children's daily activities
  • Updating learning journals and maintaining reports on children's records
  • Providing feedback on the children's daily routine to parents and carers

You will ideally have:
  • An NNEB, NVQ, Cache level 2 or 3 or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare / Nursery Nurse
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
  • Experience of planning and implementing learning and play activities
  • A knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
