A specilialist school are currently recruiting teaching assistants as well as candidates from care backgrounds to work in a specialist environment. A part of the role, you will be required to work with learners with special needs, developing speech & language, numeracy and literacy skills. In addition, you will be helping to develop life and social skills that will encourage learners to be come more confident in a non education environment.

The Role:
  • Long-term placement
  • Working Monday to Thursday
  • Assisting pupils with daily tasks and activities
  • Working in a small classroom of 6-8 pupils

Successful Candidates Must Have:
  • A passion for working in SEN
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and individually

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
