General Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant - Primary School's in Barnet

Teaching Assistant roles can vary greatly and offer convenient flexibility. We have roles as varied as day to day supply roles to long term and even permanent roles. Your role has the potential to be varied between a whole class TA role and 1 to 1 responsibilities as well as the ability to work with children with special educational needs.

To be considered for this position you should have recent experience in primary schools ideally working with KS1 or KS2 however all school experience will be considered. You must be a team player and be able to take direction well as you will be working alongside the class teacher. You will need to be hard working and passionate about working in a primary school.

Enthusiasm and very good communication skills are key to being a successful Teaching Assistant. You should meet the following criteria:
• Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school in the UK
• Be confident, flexible and adaptable.
• Have a determination to help pupils reach their full potential
• Have a high standard of spoken and written English

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
