I am currently looking for an understanding, empathetic and patient Teaching Assistants to work in a primary school based in Grangetown, to work with children that have behavioural and emotional difficulties due to early childhood trauma and toxic stress.
The position will be until the 3rd April 2020 as a minimum, and the role would be Monday-Friday 08:30am to 3:30pm. The ideal candidates will be passionate about working with children and determined to ensure each child's learning experience is as comfortable and positive as possible.
We desire (Not Essential):
Have recent classroom experience in the UK.
Previous experience with SEN or SEMH difficulties
Have strong behaviour management skills
Have excellent communication skills as well as strong literacy and numeracy skills
Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one.
