Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Specialist TA to work in KS1 and KS2 in a primary schools based in the Bexleyheath area.

The role is full time (term-time only) and is to start as soon as possible. There are positions available in keys stages 1 and 2 . You will be working closely with the class teacher providing them and the children with necessary support in their everyday activities and social interactions with other students, helping them improve their skills and achieve their educational targets. This would often require de-escalating children in crisis.

To apply you will have had proven experience working with challenging behaviour children either 1:1 or in a group. You will have a patient and calm personality but will be able to be firm when needed.

You must also:
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Have up to date professional childcare related references (covering the last 2 years)
• Have an enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service of be happy to apply for one

Protocol Education is a Supply Agency offering both long terms and short terms roles in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Special Needs (SEND) Education. We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
