A vibrant Primary School located in Shropshire is looking to appoint an outgoing and inspirational Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to work in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. The role will involve assisting the class teacher with the daily running of the class, behaviour management of students and ensuring every student is developing within the classroom through individual support or group work. The school has recently been praised for its exciting methods of learning and it's SLT for the support they offer their staff.

Days: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm)
Year Groups: KS1 or KS2
Start Date: January 2020 or sooner

The successful candidate must;

• Evidence of a Teaching Assistant qualification
• Demonstrate successful experience within a Primary School Setting
• Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum and be able to organise group and individual activities
• Consistently high expectations of all pupils - observe pupils progress and feedback to the class teacher
• Outstanding team work - take direction from the class teacher and SLT
• Positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Excellent behaviour management
• A high regard for inclusion and equality
• The ability to make a positive contribution to the school as a whole

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
