Then this could be the behaviour support role for you! A very reputable school in Brent are looking for a behaviour support assistant to start work immediately. The ideal candidate is expected to work alongside students in a mainstream environment who have difficulties learning due to ADHD/ODD and other conduct disorders. The ideal candidate will be mentally tough and have a passionate approach towards the learning of the students. There is a great behavioural unit in place to help you settle in and support you in the role, the school is located near numerous bus routes and tube stations making it very accessible via public transport.

What we expect from you:

• Previous experience working 1:1 with students
• Refined levels of patience and commitment
• The application of behaviour management techniques
• SEN experience is ideal but not compulsory
• Maintain and update behavioural data

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
