A leading and outstanding academy in Brent are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Head of Design and Technology to start in January 2020. The candidate will come in and manage a brand-new state of the art facility. The academy is well known for their successful results and traditional values that focus on striving towards student development. The headteacher believes that all staff members should be supportive and innovative when it comes to teaching techniques, are you? The academy is located minutes away from Wembley stadium, giving any prospective teacher easy access to school grounds. As a head of department, you will be expected to oversea and manage all members of staff and ensure all students are being pushed towards their maximum potential.

What we expect from you:

• Previous experience managing a department
• Intricate communication skills
• Behaviour management skills are beneficial but not compulsory
• Proven track record in raising attainment levels within students
• To present a good team ethos across the Design and technology department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
