An academically proud school who are notorious for their 100% A-level pass rate need an Academic Support teacher specialising in English to start immediately. The school holds impressive numbers with 50% of their students receiving grades A/A* at a-level. The ideal candidate will be expected to uphold these results and strive for nothing less than greatness when supporting students. What we expect from you:
• Previous experience in assisting students with their learning
• Intricate communication skills
• Behaviour management skills are beneficial but not compulsory
• Proven track record in raising attainment levels within students
• Producing accurate notes for classes
• To act in the best interest of the learners at all times whilst complying with school policy
• To ensure that student welfare is addressed with the teacher so that the correct support is given

Protocol Education is a Supply Agency offering both long terms and short terms roles in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Special Needs (SEND) Education. We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
