Protocol Education are actively recruiting for an experienced Teacher of Special Needs to join a successful and highly recommended secondary school in the Croydon borough.

The desired Teacher will be actively involved in teaching Secondary aged children who require sign bilingual education. You will need to be a committed, skilful and experienced Teacher who is passionate about teaching, learning and available to work across sign bilingual provisions. The successful candidate will be working on a 1:1 and small group basis with children who have both mild and severe needs

To be considered for the position as Teacher of the Deaf, you must:

• Be a Qualified SEN Teacher
• Be an outstanding practitioner
• Can communicate in British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 at a minimum
• Be able to think creatively and on your feet
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
• Have a genuine desire to become part of committed team of practitioners who specialize in supporting children and young people with Hearing Impairments (HI)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
