Protocol are currently recruiting for one of our client schools in Hounslow. The school has a strong support system in place and have an encouraging support system in pace for its pupils which enable them to achieve.

We are currently recruiting for a SEMH Support to start ASAP and work until July 2020 as a minimum, this current role has the potential to become permanent. The position is to work with children who present behavioural difficulties or have a diagnosis of either Autism or Social, Emotional Mental Health concerns. The young people are aged between 5-11 years old and work in small groups that are well supported by teaching assistants.

For the position, you must:

• Have experience working with children who display Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH).
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or be working towards this status.
• Be flexible and adaptable to deal with the various challenges that present in an SEMH setting.
• Team Teach training is desirable.

At Protocol we undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
