Daily Supply Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are currently actively searching for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant that will work in the borough of Barnet, starting as daily support with the opportunity to go long term.

Our schools cater for mainstream pupils but have a large percentage of SEN pupils such as; Autism, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and Speech & Language difficulties. The position will be to support the class teacher during lessons to manage behaviour. This will mean you will be working on both a 1:1 basis with key pupils and as a general class Teaching Assistant.

For this role we will require you to have these skills;
• Experience in an SEN or school setting
• Patient and tolerant
• High levels of professionalism
• Compassionate with children and encourage learning

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
