An extremely committed and passionate school that pride themselves on leadership are looking for two KS3 Higher-Level Teaching Assistant local to Dagenham to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate's versatility across a range of subjects. The HLTA will be surrounded members of staff dedicated to improving results and determined for success with our Together we learn motto. The teaching assistants must embrace innovation and strive to develop and enhance the learning experience for the students. A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships with individual children is important. Being able to work in a team of other professionals is also an integral part of this role.

The successful candidates will require the following:

•Be able to access different methods of learning to ensure the needs of every student are met.
•A strong moral purpose committed to equality and diversity.
•In depth experience working 1:1 with students
•Must have HLTA status
•Must have previous classroom experience with secondary key stages
•Excellent behaviour management skills
•The ability to be self-motivated and driven to support the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
•Attained HLTA status, through the qualification and experience of working as a HLTA in the classroom.
•Experience of working with pupils with moderate learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and behavioural and emotional difficulties.

Please note. We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
