Are you looking for permanent work in a nursery that are willing to train and guide you?

We are looking for a Nursery Assistant who holds a Level 2 MINIMUM in Child Care to work 5 days a week in a "Outstanding Ofsted" rated nursery in Barnet.

Details:
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8am-1pm
Pay rate: £9.25ph with a chance on annual increases

Role:
• Helping to oversee, maintain and organise a clean, tidy child-friendly environment
• Teaching general life skills including basic manners and hygiene
• Taking part in activities indoor and outdoor and ensuring all children are involved
• Helping children with meals, snacks and drinks
• Building a strong, solid relationship with all parents
• Logging any problems/accidents with as much detail as possible to ensure the correct procedure is carried out

Requirements:
• Level 2 minimum Qualification in Child Care
• Experience in looking after Early Years children
• Some knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Happy to learn the way the nursery wants you to learn
• DBS on Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
