We are recruiting for a senior nursery room manager who is dedicated to ensuring all children are under exceptional care. Our room leader would manage the practitioners and quality of childcare in our beautiful nursery setting.

This nursery credits their staff for ensuring that each child is content, healthy and sociable, confident, independent and ready to learn. Working in a nursery is incredibly important as you are preparing the child for school life.

The skills set & experience:

• You will hold a full and relevant Level 3 and above (equivalent) Childcare qualification
• You will be able to show examples of strong leadership skills and motivational skills
• You will be reliable and responsible, putting the child's safety and wellbeing first
• You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a nursery setting
• You will have knowledge supervision strategies and how to support the team
• You will actively promote safeguarding and knowing what to do in various situations
• You will support your team members through all aspects of childcare

Main Duties

• Maintain and achieve high levels of care and education
• Ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are always implemented and adhered to
• Effectively manage occupancy levels and budgets
• Manage operations day to day, including HR, marketing and health and safety
• Management of the nursery
• Offer a supportive and nurturing environment to all your team members including with a strong focus in leading and inspiring them to provide an excellent service to all the families using the nursery
• Driven to maintain a good or outstanding Ofsted report
• Successfully plan and manage the commercial success of the setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
