An Outstanding' school in the West London borough of Hillingdon are looking for an experienced practitioner who is able to offer specialist one to one support for children on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ensuring they are able to thrive in mainstream education.

The school has a profound understanding of the importance of specialist support, and its practical implications for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their welfare. Benefiting from a visionary and compassionate Head Teacher, and a motivated team of Teachers, there is an emphasis on high expectations for all students, ensuring that positive behaviour management is at the heart of ensuring that all children benefit from a rich and creative curriculum.

The school are looking for people who are driven and engaged, with the skills and experience of working with children with SEND in a similar setting, ideally specialising in ASD.

This would be for a January start with a commitment till the end of the academic year, however the school have taken people onto permanent contracts in the past, so there is definitely potential for the right person. Ideally you will need to be available 5 days a week 8:30-4, however 4 days may be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
