We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for care work. Your role will be to provide children with the support and services they need to live happy, healthy and fruitful lives. Our institute takes pride in putting the wellbeing and education of children as their main priority. They have an independent and flexible approach to tailoring innovative solutions to meet the needs of children. An important part of the role is to build professional relationships with children and their families, be resourceful, adaptable and dependable whilst providing a continuous improvement for all.


This is a full-time support position up until the end of the 2019/2020 academic school year, with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

·Managing pupil's behaviour
·Ensuring students engage with lessons, providing academic support and working under the instruction of the class teacher.
·Helping the students with their life skills

For this role, you will have:

·Experience working in specialist schools such as SEN schools, Pupil Referral Units or in Youth Work.
·Previous support work within a school or other child related experience.
·Strong behaviour management and confident with challenging behaviour.
·Happy to work one to one and small group work.
·An enthusiastic and friendly, yet firm approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
