Protocol Education is seeking committed, reliable, passionate, proactive Learning Support Assistants within the Sheffield area to work in our Special needs school for an immediate start working with students aged 3 to 19 years.
Our school is very good at catering and meeting the diverse and individual needs of their pupils who have special needs and severe learning difficulties such as Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).
We are looking for people that are passionate about working with students with special educational needs. Even though experience is important, but not a must. If successful, you will be required to support the teacher in class, work in small groups, work one-to-one and build relationships with one another.
Main Duties:
Helping with sensory integration within the classroom
• Working with the teacher to assess pupils' levels and ability
• Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
• Liaising with parents and carers
Successful Candidates Must Have:
• Past relevant experience of working in a childcare/ support working setting.
• A passion for working in SEN
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and individually.
• A valid DBS or on the update system

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
